I went to a park to join the picnic which was held by peopele in church with my host family.

After we back home, I helped changing tire of my host father's car.

That was my first time to change tire. I thought that was difficult for me. However, his explanation was so interesting. For example , the final step to change tire was to kick!!

That was so simple. :D

We moved to a lake. We walked around the lake.
Many people were enjoy swimming.

We did Canoe Trip in St.Croix River. On the way to the river, we passed the way like Swedish town. There were many cute shop.

There were few people in the river but some peopel did cruise.

We greeted them.

We ride on the canue each 3 people.

One person taught us how to use the paddle.

A woman helped us. She was so nice person. We talked her in the car before we arrived there.

The nature was so fine and I could refresh but to row the canue was hard.

After the canueing, we rode this bus. In addition, I and my friends rode her car and went to her house. We could meet her husband. We staied there for a short time.

In addition, that day was Family Picnic Night and Skit night at Rosevile Central Park. We've practiced skit many times for this day. My group's roll was about papaer. I heard the lagghing so I think that skit was success. Other group's skits were interesting too.

We learned about the famous people from Minnesota. There were people who flourished in various kinds of field. In addition, we learned about Harriet Bishop.

After that we listened the talking by a policeman and professor of sociology.

An woman rolled Harriet Bishiop after the lunch. She had various goods about her. Each people joined each seanes.

There was the Children's garden near the point where we assembled before we back home. There was so pretty.

In addition, we can watch some kinds of animals.

At first, we found dummy and real cattle. I took picture near the real cattle, but they were little dreadful.

Pigs were near there. They were eating their food.

Now I remember we have watched animals often.

Horses were also there but I don't remember about them. I think they were gentle.

I found a balloon was hung on the tree. Watching closer, the word "Minesota" was written on the balloon.

Some people enjoied EAGLES BINGO, but I don't know that minutely.

There was a big farris wheel in the park. That was cute.

I didn't take it because we concentrated on EATING!

The weather was so fine, but the clouds were still close for us.

The festival was imaged old country, so there were many people who wore classical clothes. They fit them.












They were funny men. That truck was so cool.

We went to barber shop in the park. The old man was also funny and we took picture with him and tools of his trade like scissors and comb. In addition, there was a dentist in the building. I don't know why that was there.






A young man was in the Blacksmith. He introduce how to make crowbar. It seemed to hot near the oven.

We ate various kinds of foods. One of them was sold at this booth.
That was Cheese Curds. Many small fried cheese were in a box. That was fresh thing for me and taste was good!








There were various kinds of animals in the fair. We found the rabitts first. I feared the picture on the explanation.

In addition, the gardening were so beautiful at many parts.

I don't know why I took this picture, but my friends were did same thing .

We entered a room. An old woman was there. In addtion, many elegant hats and clothes were displaied in the room.

We talked little and took picture with her.

We went to Dacota Country Fair so we didn't go to the university this day. This fair have been held since 1858.

There were many booths.

4th August

We learned about paper money and so on at ESL. In addition, this day's lecture after that was about Anthropology and Sociology.

This day's lunch.

We wrote journal and did skit practice for Family Picnic.

The final thing we did this day was going to preschool. There was a preschool near the university which we went. We devided some groups with each game. The children in the preschool were so funny and cute. I could enjoy with them.

I went cycling with my host mother after the dinner. I moved various beautiful scenes in the course. I felt my mind cleansed.

I saw some people did so in the course and I thought that was good thing for a change.

I often watch TV after the dinner in Japan but I felt I would do cycling when I back Japan at that time.

August 2nd

After we back home, I took a nap for mext event.

We went to church to join an wedding. That was my first time to join the wedding in foreign country, so I was excited. The wedding was held for a couple from south Africa. The bride was so butiful and I was moved at that time. The ceremony was held for about an hour and after that we

The party was held in this room. We ate dinner which were made by the bride's relative. There were various kinds of ethnic foods like pilaf. They were delicious.

I talked a Japanese woman. She lived Japan when she was an elementary school student and she moved here later. I haven't use Japanese except my friends, so I was glad to do so at that time. We talked the difference between the people in Japan and America and I asked some questions in here and expressions.



After the dinner, I joined a game of my host sister's friends group. There were people from various countries, so that was fresh experience for me. We did some games for a Beijing Olympic. A leader made various fun games. We devided two groups. My team name was "team awesome". I didn't know the meaning of the word awesome but I could understand by explanation. We used balloons and pictures and balls. I have known one of the picture because of news paper which I had seem in Japan, so I serprised when I found that picture.

We moved this museum. I thought this one is moden art museum.

The picture up to the front desk was intense one.

I was glad to be able to go museum and see many pictures in foreign country.

We took lunch in this restautant. My host mother and sister joined here. I choose vegetable one. It was delicious but little big so I took it out.

After the lunch, we went to a park. My friend's host family concerened Canadian festival so we took her there. I walked around there for short time. She worked at the front desk.

I didn't watch some shows but it seemed like fun.

Many cars were displaied and people drinked around there.

They seemes to have good time.
